Happy Birthday Aaron! His birthday was yesterday but I kept him guessing all day Sunday where I treated him to a birthday glacier and wildlife cruise out of Whitter, AK- the dismal little fishing hole only accessible by one-way 5-mile long underground tunnell. We had a great time- saw countless glaciers calving (breaking large avalanche-like chunks into the water), lots of sea otters, seals, birds, eagles and did I mention glaciers? We hiked up to Portage pass to look out over Portage Glacier and the port of Whittier, and then got a burger at the Brown Bear Saloon where we have 'made our mark' forever. It was a great day- enjoy the pics!
