Happy Holidays Everyone! It has been a whirlwind holiday season for sure! We have had a fun last few months amongst the chilly Alaskan Wilderness! We had our first Christmas together this year here in Anchorage, not able to travel home this year because Sarah had to work pretty much every day in December except Christmas day! Sarah got a nice new shiny camera from Aaron, and he got a smattering of little things, but games for the Wii and some tools. We spent Christmas night celebrating with friends and indulging in a home-smoked side of ham that Aaron smoked for 10 hours Christmas day! We took off the next weekend for a much-needed trip out of Anchorage to our Valley-- that which contains the glacier we got married on. We stayed at Sheep Mountain Lodge in a little heated-but-no-running-water cabin for one chilly night, and it was so cold we didn't even do a lot of skiing! The pics of the winter wilderness should indicate how god-awful cold it was! This week we added a new member to our family... a little 8 week-old kitten! She does not have a name yet (feel free to suggest away!) but she is so cute and playful. Mai-li isn't so into her right now but their interactions are getting better by the day. So the Christmas decorations were taken down today and we are headed into the coldest part of the winter... but we are looking forward to our trip to Maui in March! Yay! Enjoy the pics!
