Hi again family and friends, and Happy Holidays you all! Hopefully you'll be hearing from us AGAIN after sending out our save-the-date cards nearly a month ago... but more fun to come! This weekend was Aaron's work's Christmas party at the Alyeska Ski Resort, and the theme was "Hawaiian Christmas in Alaska" so we tried to dress the part- fun fun! We had the luxury of staying the night at the beautiful Alyeska Hotel and then Sunday hiked around the Portage Glacier area with coyotes howling in the distance... at least we thought they were coyotes... Driving back we were so inspired to get a Christmas tree, so in the cover of darkness went and cut down a small Charlie Brown tree along the road. As you can see in the pics, there isn't much too it (at all!) but in efforts to save $$ for presents for folks, we decorated it as best we could! Enjoy the pics- more to come as we celebrate our 6-month anniverary in Alaska with a photo montage to come, as well as last thoughts as my 8-weeks of #^*& Medicine Service wraps up on Friday!
