Pictures to follow... technical difficulties with the computer!

Well folks, we are back from Hawaii! My family is making me feel guilty about not having posted in a while, but here are some great pics from our 9-day trip to Maui, where Aaron and I got our first real vacation/honeymoon together! After spending 5 days in Wailea, snorking, Sarah going to a morning conference and relaxing on the beaches, we headed on the Road to Hana to Hana on the north-east side, lush-rainforests and plant life where we stayed for 4 days in a guest house over there. Tons of hiking, waterfalls, rainstorms, beach hikes, lava tubes, flora and fauna, fresh fruit off the tree and tons of local lore. We had a great time- not to mention good sun and warmth that hopefully once back here in Alaska will sustain us until spring thaw!

The kitties Mai-li and Skeeter made it without us for the time we were away... Skeeter (aka Luna before we found out she was a HE!) is getting big and rambunctious, but is fun to watch!

Sarah heads to Bethel in the rural western part of Alaska where it is still in the negative temps, so watch the blog for pics from her time working with the Native Health System, village visits, ER shifts, helicopter transports, all during breakup season!
