Aaron and I are closing on our first house together next week... WOW.... big stuff this is! We bought a great zero-lot line (aka 1/2 of a duplex with one shared wall) about a mile from where we currently rent-- and it is beautiful! Fresh paint, new floors, clean as a bell, new carpet and move-in ready! After learning about the home buying process, we feel like we got the hang of it--- and though we had some hang-ups with this property, we finally got the inspection cleared and a date for closing the deal! So, we have informed the landlady and allready after posting an ad for the current apartment there are 2 people coming to check things out tomorrow.... good deal! I am trying to work on finding time to move with Aaron and packing is soooooo hard when you only moved less than a year ago! My packing is completely inefficient, unlike 10 months ago when it was "pack per pound!"
